1.Modern Design Materials

Modern design makes use of developments in technology when it comes to the materials used.It often includes features such as glass,plastic,steel and reinforced concrete.And Natural materials such as stone and wood may be added to these materials.Recycled materials are also popular in modern architecture.I really the modern design that mixes man-made and natural materials to blend them together.

2.Modern shapes Modern building design often has very simple,but defined shapes.A building may look like a stack of large blocks.The shapes in modern design are clean,meaning free of anything beyond basic lines.The idea of “less is more” means that there s a lack of ornate design features.The shapes are often covered in glass or are open,to allow light and air in the building.

3.Modern Color The color of the building is important.Because different colors cause different emotions.Colors are often simple and bold.Color must also go with the natural environment,either to blend in or to show a pleasing contrast.Usually,just on or two colors is used to keep the look of the design simple.Black ,white,gray are popular,along with primary colors,such as green,red and blue.

4.Residential Design Residential design is slightly different from a design used for a large office building.I like the elements of open spaces,basic shapes,glass,access to nature,and a lack of ornate decorations.I love the “Prairie style” design.It is the basic design style of 20th-century American Residential design.This kind of residential designs brought together human life and our natural environment.Often light,water,wood,stone, and other natural elements were part of the design.Building were to blend in with nature.It is suitable for human to live in.I would love to own a such Prairie style house.
